A ring of light around the cup
The S608's lighting is simple: a closed ring with a rainbow gradient runs around the rim of each cup, leaving a matte cap with the AULA logo in the middle. The ring glows for as long as the USB plug is connected: there is no button and no app for it. On a desk it reads as bright but calmer than a scatter of individual LEDs.
A headband that settles by itself
The cups hang from two thin metal rods with a padded strap stretched between them. Put the headset on and the strap follows the shape of your head, spreading the 290 g across a wide area rather than one point on the crown. AULA calls the headband adjustable; the sides are marked L and R so you do not wear it backwards and misplace the microphone.
A microphone that stays where you put it
The microphone sits on a flexible metal gooseneck with a blue accent at the capsule. The arm does not spring back: bend it to sit close to your mouth for team chat, or swing it up and away when you are playing quietly or listening to music. It is fixed in place, so you cannot lose it — but you cannot remove it from the headset either.
Three plugs and nothing more
The S608 needs no batteries, no receiver and no vendor software: the audio runs over analogue 3.5 mm and the USB only feeds the lighting. That means it behaves the same on an old office tower, on a gaming PC and on a laptop with a splitter, with no audio latency at all. The flip side of that simplicity: there is no virtual surround, no equaliser and no in-line control on the cable.
