The whole frame lights up, not a ring
The cup covers and the upper headband loops on the S505 are moulded from translucent plastic that works as a diffuser. The LEDs sit behind it, so the light comes out as a broad wash: the cup becomes a disc of colour and two glowing bands run along the headband. That is why AULA calls the model a transparent headset — not because the shell is see-through, but because the light passes through it.
One plug instead of three
The headset has one cable and one connector: USB 2.0. The audio path lives inside the headset itself, so it needs no separate headphone socket, no microphone socket and no splitter for a laptop with a combo jack. The same port feeds the lighting. Plug it into any free USB-A and the system normally picks it up straight away.
Volume under your thumb, the mic where you need it
A small remote sits on the cable, so volume changes without leaving the game or minimising a window. The microphone is fixed to a flexible boom off the left cup, with an indicator light beside it. Bend the boom down to your chin, swing it aside or lift it up — it keeps whatever shape you give it.
Four colours, one design
The body comes in black, white, pink and mint green. Only the cup covers and the headband loops change: the light colourways use a grey suspension strap, the black one a black strap. The frame, microphone, remote and cable are identical across all four, and the colour of the glow comes from the LEDs rather than the shell, so in the dark the difference between the options all but disappears.
