Why people pick it

What you get

01

60% — the shortest case in the series

The MINI 60 HE keeps only the alphanumeric block: 61 keys, 299 mm long and 102 mm deep. The numpad, the F-row and the arrows live on the FN layer — a few days and it becomes second nature, and in exchange the mouse gets almost the whole desk. For low sensitivity and wide turns in shooters that matters more than it looks on paper.

Three connection modes, switched on the case

The USB-C cable, the 2.4 GHz dongle and Bluetooth 5.0 are selected with a slider on the back edge — not through a key combination you have to remember. On the cable the board reaches 8,000 Hz; wirelessly the rate depends on the build: Standard polls at 1,000 Hz, MAX at the same 8,000 Hz as on the wire. Bluetooth is handy for keeping a tablet or a work laptop paired and switching between them without touching the dongle.

03

Stormrise, Mistcloud and Spiritcloud

All three switches are magnetic with the same 3.4 ± 0.1 mm of travel and differ only in force. The lightest is Spiritcloud: 28 ± 5 gf to actuate and 45 ± 5 gf to bottom out. Stormrise sits in the middle (32 ± 5 and 50 ± 5 gf) and Mistcloud is the firmest (33 ± 5 and 53 ± 5 gf). The sockets take mixed sets, so you can run light switches under WASD and heavier ones under the spacebar and modifiers.

Five layers between the press and the desk

On the PRO and MAX builds, PC foam, a fibre pad, PET film, a switch socket pad and a moulded silicone base sit under the metal plate, with the battery and the bottom shell below them. The stack kills the hollow ring of the plastic and the metallic spring echo, so typing sounds shorter and denser. The Standard build does not include this package — one of the reasons for the price gap.

Standard, PRO and MAX: what actually changes

The case, the layout and the 0.01 mm adjustment step are the same across all builds — what changes is the hardware inside. Standard ships without RGB lighting, with a 3,000 mAh battery and 1,000 Hz wireless polling. PRO adds the backlight, a 4,000 mAh battery and the acoustic package. MAX is PRO plus 8,000 Hz wireless polling. AULA quotes about 45 hours on the 4,000 mAh version with the lighting off.

Questions

The short answers.

When is delivery expected?

Delivery is expected on 18 November 2026. A pre-order locks the price and your place in the batch; GEEKSHOP confirms the exact date.

How do the Standard, PRO and MAX builds differ?

They share the case, the 60% layout and the 0.01 mm adjustment precision. Standard is the plainest build: no RGB backlight, a 3,000 mAh battery, 1,000 Hz wireless polling and no acoustic package. PRO adds RGB lighting, a 4,000 mAh battery and the five-layer damping stack. MAX is the same as PRO but raises wireless polling to 8,000 Hz, matching the cable. If you mostly play wireless, the gap between Standard and MAX is noticeable; if you play on the cable, the polling rate is identical across all builds.

Which switch should I pick — Stormrise, Mistcloud or Spiritcloud?

All three are magnetic with 3.4 ± 0.1 mm of travel and differ only in force. Spiritcloud is the lightest (28 ± 5 gf to actuate) and suits fast repeats and rhythm games. Stormrise sits in the middle (32 ± 5 gf) and works as the all-round choice for gaming and typing. Mistcloud is the firmest (33 ± 5 gf), which reduces accidental presses when your fingers rest on the keys. The differences are small, so you can also choose on looks: each build ships with its own switch.

Can I change the switches and mix different ones on one board?

Yes — AULA explicitly states hybrid-switch support: the switches sit in sockets and come out without soldering, and one board can mix Stormrise, Mistcloud and Spiritcloud, for example light ones under WASD and firmer ones under the modifiers. One important caveat: only Hall-effect magnetic switches fit. Ordinary Cherry-compatible mechanical switches will not work in this case, because the PCB reads the magnet position rather than a closing contact.

This is a preorder — when will the keyboard arrive?

The MINI 60 HE is sold on preorder. Delivery takes about a month from the moment a GEEKSHOP manager confirms the order: the colourway, the switch and the build (Standard, PRO or MAX) are agreed first, then the batch is ordered from AULA and shipped to Uzbekistan. The manager will contact you, confirm the configuration you chose and give an approximate date when the keyboard reaches the warehouse.
