Why people pick it
The A500 uses a dual-feed ANC layout: one microphone listens to the noise outside the cup, the other to what actually reaches your ear. The specification table puts the maximum depth at −38 dB, while the model description quotes up to 40 dB across a 50 Hz – 2 kHz band. A transparency mode sits next to it and lets outside sound through when you need to catch an announcement without taking the headset off.
Bluetooth 5.4 holds a link at around 10 metres and is the easy choice for a phone or tablet. The bundled 2.4 GHz receiver gives the computer its own channel, so you are not re-pairing every time you sit down; its plug is USB Type-C, so a USB-A port will want an adapter. The third option is a USB cable — a wired link for when you want no radio in the chain.
AULA rates the 1,000 mAh battery at roughly 100 hours of playback with noise cancelling off and about 60 hours with it on. A full charge over USB Type-C takes around three hours. If the headset dies just before you leave, five minutes on the cable is good for about six hours.
The boom rotates: flip it up and the microphone is muted and all but invisible against the cup. Drop it back towards your mouth and the headset is ready for a call or in-game voice chat. There is no separate mute button to hunt for — the boom's position is the status indicator.
The cups swivel flat and fold into the headband, so the headset takes less room in a backpack and does not fight with a laptop. AULA builds the A500 in black, white and beige; the body weighs about 317 grams at 187.79 × 78.93 × 196.96 mm.

With ANC off the headset simply stops cancelling, and you hear only as much as the cushions let through. Transparency mode actively mixes in sound from the outside microphones, so a colleague or an announcement comes through clearly without taking the headset off.
For gaming use the bundled 2.4 GHz USB receiver or the wired USB link — a dedicated channel separate from Bluetooth. Bluetooth 5.4 is the better fit for music and phone calls. AULA does not publish a specific latency figure for the A500.
AULA builds the A500 in black, white and beige. Only the shell and cushion colour changes — the electronics, noise cancelling and battery are identical. Pick the colour when you place the preorder.
In AULA's own photographs the receiver has a USB Type-C plug. It goes straight into a Type-C laptop, phone or tablet; a regular USB-A port needs a Type-C to USB-A adapter. AULA does not state whether such an adapter is included, so check with the GEEKSHOP manager when you order.
